The car has the auto-stop feature. However at times, when auto-stop engages, the entire car shuts down. The start button has to be pressed to start the car and then the transmission service message comes on and also the service parking brake light comes on. It doesn't happen often but when it does, at times it's in traffic. This of course is not very safe and creates a hazard. My son first noticed it last year and he freaked out. Luckily, he was just at a stop light and was able to start the car while the light was still red. Not sure what to do, but it definitely seems like an major issue!
