I checked this site to see if anyone else reported a bad smell, like being behind an old car where the exhaust smells like musty oil burning. I found just one similar complaint from Minnesota saying in extreme cold temps the car smelled and actually shut off. I live in Wisconsin, same crappy below zero temps and after getting into the car after using the remote start, it stunk so bad, at first I too thought it might be the car next to me. But the other night, I left work late and was the only one in the parking lot. I always like to see if others are experiencing similar before contacting my service dept. They have this way of talking down to women if you don't have a little ammunition, if you know what I mean. Will post results when I get them, good or bad.
Update from Jan 14, 2015: This morning the same thing happened as the person from MN reported. Reduced engine power warning and the car died at 68 mph on the highway. Service dept. says it's moisture getting into the throttle and freezing up. Told me to leave the car sit for a few minutes and turn it back on. Can't get a service appt. for 3 more days. Drove it to work with the engine light on and couldn't get over 45 mph. Hope I can get it home tonight!
