This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Buick dealer.
The brakes grab at the slightest touch and throw the driver forward. It happens every time it is started and whenever there is moisture in the air. Is a definite hazard and I am sure a definite liability to the auto maker. It must be a system program as our salesman told us they would make a noise but certainly did not warn us about the grabbing. Also I have noticed other complaints in this site about the same problem.

I love the Encore bought for the size and look. But whenever it rains, fogs, sprinkles any kind of moisture in the air the brakes grind so bad you feel like they are going to lock up and throw you through the windshield. I only have 3,750 miles on the vehicle and this is making me want to trade it in! Also issue with info center display another separate complaint.

Purchased vehicle brand new in 2015 within months had to return to the dealer for brake problems. Of course they did nothing, said there was a bulletin out there and would notify us if there was a recall. I have had this vehicle now for 2 years and no solutions! We have taken it to two different dealerships approx 6 times now and nothing is being done. The problem is consist with these Buicks so why are they not being fixed, it has become extremely frustrating. We just picked it up today from the dealership and all they would do was clean the brakes which is complete bs especially since they heard the brakes squilling when it was dropped off. I think they only solution is trading it in on something besides a GM product.
