Driving my daughter from Ohio to Texas, to begin a 3 month internship. Check engine light came on, then the traction control light, speedo and tach went to zero, check Power Steering came on then the transmission got stuck in low gear. Managed to get to the side of the highway, waited 2 hours for AAA. Flat-bedded to a garage, stayed a night in a hotel. Garage diagnosed a bad battery. Replaced the battery and we carried on towards Nashville. Three hours later and 30 miles north of Nashville same thing happened. Check engine light, traction control, stuck in gear etc. Managed to get off the highway and made some phone calls. Started the car and everything was fine. Drove to a nearby Firestone store and they got a 0700 code fro the transmission PCM, suggest not to continue with the car to Texas, as if I would!! Got the car to a Nashville Buick dealership and rented a car of complete the trip to Texas. So far they haven't fixed it. They said there were many codes coming up and it could just be a bad ground wire (I don't think so). I shudder to think if I wasn't with my daughter for this trip. Will be contacted GM to raise holy hell!!!

I was driving along and the gauges started bouncing. I lost power steering, transmission went into limp and stuck in first gear, but the hvac blower motor stayed on even after I removed key from ignition. Thank God I was only 5 blocks from home and limped it there. Could not delete all ECU faults. I had to disconnect battery for awhile and the use my scanner to delete all codes. Pretty sure a lot of people are having this bad ground issue.
