The contact owns a 2016 Buick Encore. While the vehicle was parked, the rear hatch windshield shattered. The contact stated that the rear windshield trim molding separated prior to the rear windshield fracturing. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 33,000.
