problem #1

Dec 122020

Encore

In March 2020, my car seemed like it was missing something... I would give it gas that seem to bog it down and it would't go any faster than 30-35 mphs. I had an On Demand test run showed a code ECM Engine System P0171. Took it to the shop and was told it was the emission system needed a new part. So I got the part replaced and it ran as though nothing had been wrong. Today, Dec. 16 2020, my 2016 Buick Encore is slugging down like it wants to go dead, and when I give it gas, it really cuts out.

So I called On Demand and requested a Diagnostic run. The code was ECM Engine System P0171. As I expected based on how its running, the results are the same as they were in March 2020. Also both times the test had concluded that. I feel like this should be the manufacture who is responsible for this issue. What can be done and whom should I call?
