turbo failing turbo failing

I never knew it was a “Turbo Failing” problem until I got a letter from GMC/BUICK in early April 2024 and the letter was dated March 2024. I called Head Quarters about it because at that time the code “P0299” had cleared. Then on 5/6/2024 at 124,415 miles on my vehicle it started again. This time the code won’t clear, GMC/BUICK won’t FIX IT because it’s “out of the mileage per letter.” That’s absurd! They tell you “Pay to have it fixed and we’ll reimburse you.” That is Bull Crap and they know it. If they are going to “reimburse” me for getting it fixed, why not fix it in the first place! They’ve known about this issue and from what other people at Head Quarters are saying the letter went out in February 2024, so why did I get it later? Why isn’t this “Turbo” up for RECALL? Why the heck put a TURBO on a car anyways?? Heck, didn’t even know I had a Turbo on it until there was an issue with the oil leaking. If anyone knows of lawsuits being made with this, Please inform me. Thanks!
