Encore Sport Touring 1.4L Turbo

2019 Buick Encore Sport Touring with the base stereo. Have noticed since vehicle was new that there appears to be a significant defect in the volume of the stereo system when switching between XM to AM or to an FM source. Primarily the issue is when listening to XM radio at say 25 to 30% Volume, and you switch over to an FM station the volume will then be at barely a whisper and requires an increase of volume to at least 50 to 75% to achieve approximately same volume level - however, at a significant decrease in sound quality. It sounds as if the XM signal is running through the factory amp but the AM signal and FM signal or not and results in what sounds like a substantially muted sound.

I have taken the vehicle in to the dealer for inspection. However, I was informed that this is considered normal. Would strongly disagree as we have a 2014 Buick encore and a previous 2012 Buick Regal GS that did not suffer from this issue. Have taken the vehicle into two separate local stereo shops and neither has seen or experienced this problem and both expressed the opinion this is very unusual. I believe that Buick should step up and fix the problem and not require me to step outside of factory and upgrade the stereo system at my expense.
