This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Buick dealer.
There is a label on the fill door telling you how to insert the gas nozzle, however I can never fill the tank up. I think there is a defect in the filler neck and I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem.

Whenever I fill the fuel tank I can add between 4 and 5 gallons of gas after the gas nozzle initially stops. This has been a problem since I brought the vehicle new and the dealer has never been able to fix it. I don't believe they have ever checked the vent that is suppose to open as you are filling it nor have they checked the angle of the filler line for defects or bends. Once I fill it up, it takes me 5 minutes because the pump keeps stopping, my fuel range in around 450 miles. If I stop when the pump initially stops my fuel range in 325 to 350 miles.
