Envision Essence 2.5L

2020 Buick Envision Essence AWD. SEVERE front vibration under acceleration. Occurs at 40mph and last for a few seconds. Doesn’t happen every time, but it occurred shortly after purchasing the vehicle new and has continued for over a year now. We currently have 13k miles on it. I’ve mentioned it to the dealer ever time the vehicle has been serviced. Either they didn’t look or couldn’t duplicate. I never got a clear answer. This last time, I asked again if they checked it. I was told yeah and they thought it was an out of balance wheel. That was NOT the issue as it started vibrating again in only 2 days.

This is extremely annoying and I’m concerned that there is something seriously wrong with the drivetrain. I’m also concerned that it is going to continue until we are injured or the vehicle is out of warranty. I see the same complaints on a 2018 Envision that is addressed in TSB# 18 - NA - 233 that calls for the replacement of 2 front half shafts. This describes the same issue I’m having, but you would think they had that resolved is the 2020 models.

Update from Feb 9, 2022: Now 18k miles. I can slightly replicate the issue by a hard acceleration from a dead stop. It will vibrate, but not as extreme as when it randomly happens. Took the vehicle back in again and now being told that the transmission fluid level was too high. Drained the fluid to the proper level and sent me on my way. Immediately noticed the same vibration. Now the vehicle will not shift properly and sometimes runs the RPM all the way up to 5000 before it shifts. I have another appointment on Monday to investigate again.
