LaCrosse CXL 3.8L V6

have two bent control arms--rear--have not run over anything and there is no other visible damage in that area. If the car was put on a lift could that somehow bend the control arms. The reason i say that is because i went to a brake repair shop and i noticed the problem shortly after.The problem is very noticeable when going over a bump. The car seems to bounce sideways
