I have a Buick Lucerne 2008 in November 2015 while on vacation the fuel pump went out, it was replaced with a brand new one, at that time we also replaced some of the fuses that looked a little worn out . January 2016 the fuel pump stop working, again we replaced the fuel pump only to find out the fuse box and the relay switch had to also be replaced. My concern is the fuses will melt down, which can possibly start a fire underneath the seat and since it's on the other side of the car battery it's a strong possibility the car could catch fire. I hope they do a recall and fix the situation because a fuel pump should not be able to melt fuses inside a fuel box.
