My car had a fire under the hood and the heated seats caught on fire.....now this. The ABS Stability lights come on and the car DIES, no power steering or brakes, but yet I am still rolling. I got it to the dealership and it was part of a recall. they did a temp fix and told me GM has no real fix for it yet. Ok so I go on a trip 2 hrs from home with a car packed full of expensive glassware going to set up at a show and guess what, the ABS stability lights come on my car is still rolling, the power steering and brakes no longer working I had to throw it into park jerk my whole body to get the thing to stop. This is not a recall issue THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. Who wants to drive a car that has no steering or brake power??????? I have lost my faith in my car, and fear for my life driving it, IT IS A DEATH TRAP. I am not enjoying my trip constantly worried about what ditch I should head for if this happens again and had to take back roads to do so since the freeway is full of construction and has no ditch. THIS IS SCARY. I can't wait to get home to check into GM Buy Back Program for this defective car. I will enter my VIN when I get home if I make it there.
