The contact owns a 2012 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that when she stopped the vehicle, the driver's side door independently locked and could not be unlocked. The contact became trapped in the vehicle for quite some time. The failure was recurring. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis but the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 1,000 and the current mileage was 6,000.
