shuts off while driving

This has been an on-going problem for years! I hope this will end the mystery. My interior power would go on and off while driving intermittently. In addition it would randomly not start and I would have to lift the hood and "jiggle" the wires near the battery until they started to heat up for it to start. This happened about once every 2 to 3 months. I really hope this stops that as the dealer and my personal mechanic could not get the problem to replicate.

The car started to stall while in a traffic jam. It was a stop and go which cause extended battery drain. The A/C started to go in an out. Then the engine started to stall. A service battery light popped up. The radio then turned itself off. Finally it stated the engine was overheating. I got to a dealership where they told me it wasn't under the electrical charging system recall. Even though it was experiencing the same problems. It had 85000 miles at the time. It was a $966 repair. Hopefully if enough people come out GM will be forced into looking into this issue.

Since I purchased this vehicle in October, 2018, it has had electrical issues. The dash lights and navigation screen just cut off randomly, even while driving. Several times I went to start the car and it was like the battery was totally dead, but when checked the battery had full power. I took the car to two different dealers who connected it to a computer and could find nothing wrong. It was the weirdest thing. Finally, last week, I was out with my 6 month old son in extremely cold temperatures and I went to leave an appointment, got him buckled in the car seat and hit the push start button and nothing. No overhead lights, no navigation screen, nothing worked, not even the door locks. I was livid because everybody says they can't find anything wrong.

Long story short, it had to be towed. I went a different route and towed it to an auto zone across the street to let a friend check it out. Low and behold, he discovered that all the fuses that run on the battery were not getting power. He rigged a connector from the battery to the fuse box and it has had zero problems since. This was a $3.99 fix for the time being. I can get the fuses replaced, which is what would have to be done, from $300 to $600 dollars at a dealership. I don't have that kind of money right now, so i am hoping if there are enough of complaints such as what happened to my Buick, I can get a recall on this.
