problem #1

Oct 302017

LaCrosse Premium 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52 miles

Purchased New 2017 Buick Lacrosse Premium and drove it away Oct. 26, 2017. I saw on Dash Display icon of a Speed Limit Sign on the Dash Display which changed as we traveled on different roads, etc. Interstates, state, local roads & speed limits through towns. This is not the speed limit we were driving through the areas or different roads.

Approximately 3-4 days after we had the car at home, the battery went completely "DEAD", we called Buick to come and get it; the tow truck arrived and the tow people "jumped" the battery and I was able to drive the car back to the Dealership and they kept it most of the day and said they charged the battery and everything was O.K. again. I drove the car back home & everything seemed O.K..

My wife & I went for a drive the next day and noticed the "Speed Limit Sign" was missing from the Dash Display. We took it back to the Dealership and have went through 8-10 different employees with it not being fixed. I have talked to the Buick Chat line which ended in "end of the line that could not answer or provide solution. I have talked with Buick Customer Care which ended in the same answer as the Chat line. It is now going on 4 months and after 'ALL" the Buick People I have been in contact with "NO ONE" has called me back with a solution.

Several Buick employees have tried to "reset" this feature with the buttons on the steering wheel AND again nothing has worked! I liked this feature on my car (that had it when I purchased it) and only asking for it back! I would have thought within "3 MONTHS" someone should be able to fix this! Maybe Buick should replace the whole car since the problem cannot be fixed?
