General Motors, the local Buick Dealer in Harrisburg and Buick motor division will not/can not fix because there are no parts available. The parts are in production but not release-able for warranty or repair work. Been promised now for 3 weeks that they are working on issue. GM rep calls but he can only do so much. Local Buick dealer in Harrisburg on Paxton street refuses to take belt off of another car.

Its a basic black seat belt assembly for heavens sake. It won't pull out so that you can put it on to obey the federal/state law.

Car was bought on 4/8/17 In shop from 4/22-28 and back in on 5/4 to whenever issue gets resolved.!!

My car has been sitting on their lot now for over 3 weeks (4 if you count the wiper issue) and my second payment is due. Only put about 500 miles on car so far. So much for customer service, they get your money and forget about you.

I forgot, I did get a call from my salesman the other day asking me how I enjoy my new Buick!!! He did not even know what what going on yet may car is right outside the showroom window!!!

I contacted and filed a report with the NHTSA, this location and next I am going after the lemon law because when I mentioned to the salesman about a buy back, he hemmed and haw and said they could only do so much.

Update from May 21, 2017: Rec'd call from General Motors on 5/20, seat belt is still not being released. They say will update on 5/23. Calling dealer tomorrow for possible buy back or Lemon Law action
