Car will not start if security light is on, although when the light goes off it starts like a dream. It is a hit or miss with this problem. Now I wait to see where I will be stranded at! I paid to have my non-starting car towed to the auto mechanic and when they took the car off of the flatbed truck, it started. It started on and off for my mechanic. I ended up paying for a tow and brought my car home. Nothing has been fixed and the mechanic does not know what needs to be fixed until the car won't start for good. This leaves me wondering exactly how much this problem will cost me in the end if and when the car won't start for good! Does anyone have an idea of how much this will cost and what exactly will fix it besides buying a "NEW" car! LOL
