We bought this car used and checked it out. We were happy to think the dealer gave us a full tank of gas, up until the reserve light came on, but the gauge did not move from the full mark. we filled it up and it was really empty. We never have actually ran out of gas. Our owners manual tells how much the reserve is so we just do the math. After that we learned to use the trip odometer and just fill up every 325 miles, and reset it for the next tank.
