If the security lights are the overhead interior lights that is not my issue. The issue that I experienced was a manual button that switches on the headlights. This button gets stuck pressed in and won’t allow the lights to turn off automatically. I have gotten it unstuck and stopped using it.

3-4 times a week the security light comes on when I start my car and stays on for the duration of the trip. The next time I start the car it may not stay on and is just like normal. Why does this happen?
