It is pretty scary to be driving down the road at night alone, meeting a car, dim your lights from bright and the headlights go completely out. You only have a few seconds to react, but I hit the dimmer lever again and they came back on dim. No headlights are out, no parking lights are out. Don't know the solution except something wrong with the dimmer switch or lever. This has happened several times in the last few months, so I just drive on dim lights. This is not good sometimes because you can't see very far ahead of you for deer, people, or cars on side of the road. Especially if the weather is bad, rain, fog, etc.
