Vehicle interior lighting does not work in park, drive or when lights turned on, cluster, gear indicator, climate display, radio lighting does not work at all, when driving at night & windows fog up I have a hard time finding the temp. Buttons while seeing safely out windshield. My son pulled out cluster, noticed missing resistors are the cause. Driver side leather heated seat gets too hot when switched on, fear it could lead to fire. Rear strut snapped from rust/age. Son replaced both rear struts, noticed the strut to frame was rusting out where the welds have been made & was not supporting the vehicles weight properly. If these give out, the rear of the car will drop & loose control of vehicle, possibly puncturing the fuel tank causing leak/fire while steering while is parked or in motion, moving steering wheel 9 to 3 O'clock position is a very loud thud. Headlight combo switch has failed resulting of losing headlights, interior lights. Leaks oil, puddles of oil near plenum & top of motor. Its always leaked since owning it. Fuel leak inside of engine bay. My son has recently discovered a fuel leak once the motor is shut off. It appears it is the back fuel rail return line quick disconnect fitting that is leaking gas once the motor is shut off, realized the problem when I shut my car off, 5 mins later I started it & could smell gasoline from the heat vents. Shut it off. Opened hood, strong order of gas present. Removed plastic top engine cover & a very strong smell present. Traced the fuel lines & found gasoline dripping out of the rear fuel rail onto the motor. Son is replacing the O rings in the quick connect to correct the problem. After googling this is a common problem on w-bodys & has caused the vehicles to start a fire but has not been recalled. Can provide pictures taken of the leak if contacted

Air bag light is on I see others have a electrical contact problem with module. Mercedes now has a recall for the same problem. Gas line had to be replaced. The Chevy Impala a w-car are identical fuel lines have been recalled I expected all GM w-cars would have followed. The check engine light shows up as a fuel evaporative system on tech. Reader. Note: All the conditions shown above are on all the time after starting.

2000 Regal Buick with low mileage didn't pass nh state inspection because of code P0440 evaporation emission control system. When looking at GM recall there were 248 other 2000 Buick recalls with the same issue reported to General Motors.this code has to do with the fuel system, gas lines and storage tank and can be very dangerous and catch the car on fire.I did call GM and filed a claim but they really don't care.also there is a steering/suspension steering linkage free play. When doing research on this there was a recall (76128) and 979 people also reported this issue.

I had stopped at store on way home from work. When I came out of store I noticed smoke coming from under the hood of my car. I popped the hood and saw my engine on fire and proceeded to try and put the fire out. I took my jacket off and started hitting the engine and this burned up my jacket and scorched my hand. An employee from the store came out with a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. The fire department was called but fire was out before they got there. It burned up the entire top and sides of my engine. Their was a recall that would have stopped this but I did not receive it.
