My car has had a rattling noise since I bought it brand new in 2011. I have been the only owner of this car and have taken very good care of it. I have complained about the rattling noise but they never found anything. Had my car in for a service and the they let me use another 2011 regal turbo and that car had the same rattling noise. They thought maybe serpentine belt so they replaced it. It seemed to help but slowly come back. On my way home from work last week I turned the corner onto my road and I lost all power. Was unable to start it or jump it. So called a road side assistance and they took my car to the dealership where I bought and service my car. Well! I got the worst news ever... timing chain broke and ripped up my engine. They said I need a new engine (6500$)and I am 7,000 miles past my warranty. I am sick.. I loved that car and feel It shouldn’t be a piece of crap already.

I was turning a corner and the car just cut off!!!! I had my grandchildren with me and I shudder to think of what could have happened. It is a blessing that nothing was coming!!!! The car went straight ahead and I couldn't steer or anything!!! It is scary to think this could happen while I'm on the expressway.

I got into my car to go to work on Monday morning and the light came on telling me that the engine is getting no power, immediately I turned around and parked the car and caught a ride to work. After work I took the car to the dealer, and the next thing I know the service department calls me and tells me that I must pay $968.00 for the Throttle Assembly because the one in the car is burned out. Well I fainted because honestly I don't have finance like that. I wanted to know what did i do to make this happen and I was told nothing it just burned out. Well after asking around I found that this is a part of the vehicle that should have a lifetime warranty, in other words some parts on a car don't burn out or give out. Being a women who doesn't know about these things, I am now trying to hustle up the funds to pay to get my car. They fixed it and now I owe $968.00 it just seems unfair that a company builds a vehicle and you get stuck with paying the error of an incomplete or miscalculated malfunction. If I did nothing to make this Throttle Assembly default why should I pay so much or why should I pay at all.

I purchased this car from a private owner. They said the car ran good. Shortly after my purchase I've replaced my timing belt, my alternator, camshaft sensor, and now my catalytic converter may be needing to be replaced. I've gotten my car maintenance twice with the oil change and still my engine oil burns out too fast.
My mechanic can't seem to find the issue.
