Not the first 02 Rendezvous this repair co. has repaired for the same problem. With so many major issues with this year and make, the resale value is not good nor is the trade in value. GM should have had recalls on several issue with this make and year.

Took my buick to buick dealer repair garage and they had the car for recall of gas tank, so when they had the gas tank out to replace, they diagnosed the sending unit,so I ask how much, they said $346.00 but they had to order part. So I came home and called another parts department in local area (Buick dealer) and the parts department said the price of the part the sending unit would be $196.00. So what the heck, the gas tank was down, right there why is the first price of the part different then the second! Naturally the 2nd price of $196.00 did not include labor BUT!!!! THE FIRST DEALER ALREADY HAD THE GAS TANK OFF TO REPAIR A RECALL BY BUICK AND STILL CHARGING ME $200.00 MORE FOR THE PRICE OF THE SENDING UNIT!!!! so I called the buick representative I was working with on the recall repair and he said all dealers are individual and they can charge what they want for the part. WHAT A CROCK!!!!!!! THEREFORE DECIDED TO DRIVE THIS CAR WITHOUT A GAS GAUGE. terrible.
IN REVIEWING ALL THE PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR, WHY ARE THEY STILL BEING SOLD!!!!!!! Everyday people are so busy and don't keep up on car recalls when they are out in the market, and I am 64 and when I purchased this car,Buick/gm was in my memory top of the line care manufacture!!!! Now, I know why they discontinued the rendezvous!!!!! thank you

I have never seen a vehicle with so many things wrong with it.... The gas gauge wasn't working when I bought it about three months ago....It flops over to full when ignition is turned on, and stays there....It flops back to Empty when I turn the ignition off.... I have run out of gas twice now, and cannot carry a gas-can in back any longer, as others always say they smell gas...Very upsetting....Any suggestions, other than lighting the gas can and running away...?....Thanx...
