I bought this vehicle because I needed the room, but I never dreamed that the day after purchase (used) that it would have a cracked head. We were first told that it was a blown head gasket, but once it was taken off and sent to the machine shop to have it checked it had 2 cracked heads. We purchased new heads rather than try to redo the ones that were on it thinking we would be better off. Well little did I know that when the mechanic got it back together that it has more problems. This is what I was told by the mechanic that the dealership diagnosed the problem as:
It has low compression on cylinder 5. So with it having new heads on it the only thing it can be is collapsed piston rings. Unless the valve isn't seated properly from the machine shop that did the heads. Either way it will have to be torn back down to figure it out.
I don't have another $500.00 for another tear down and then the cost of fixing whatever is wrong. This car has turned out to be my worst nightmare.
