I have heard and read that this is a very common problem on this vehicle, dealer told me. Should have a recall but there is none.

Just like all the other people have complained about it gets down below 1/4 tank and it reads empty, then jumps back up to 1/4. they want 109.00 to fix the sensor.

I purchased my 2006 rendezvous on May 28, 2010, milage was 50,944. About a week later I notice my gas gage was not reading correctly. I took pictures every time it would read different. I took my suv and pictures to the dealership on several occasions. A day or two later they call me and tell me it's fixed. This has happened 5 time so far and the erratic gas gage reading is still happening. Last week it read a little less then 1/4 a tank, I decided to get gas, Luckily I did... I was really on empty... The suv took 16 gallons of gas. I called the dealer and they said bring it back...I am soooo tired of this problem. You would think after 5 times it would be fixed. I am planing to go across country in Nov., I am so scared I am going to run out of gas...

I've taken my car in to the dealer 4 times for the same problem with no solution in sight. The fuel gauge gives erratic readings after emptying below 1/2 tank. They have replaced the sensor, the sending unit and reprogrammed the computer. Now, they are replacing the wiring harness to the dash. I have seen this problem on other Buick's online and hope that this information helps those of you who may not be covered under warranty.

Ever since we bought the Buick Rendezvous its been a real pain. The gas gauge has never worked properly. I never know how much gas is in my car. One minute it says i have a half tank. The next it says I'm on E. I was hoping there was a recall on this car.
