The contact owns a 2007 Buick Rendezvous. As the occupant in the front passenger seat exited and closed the door, the side air bag deployed without warning. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that they would repair the vehicle. Later that same day, she received a call from the dealer stating that they would not be responsible for the repairs because they could not determine the cause of the air bag deployment. The contact retrieved her vehicle and believes that the failure should be covered under a recall. The vehicle has not been repaired. The current and failure mileages were 174,200.
