The contact owns a 2006 Buick Terraza. The contact stated that the steering makes a clunking noise and vibrates. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times; however, they stated that the steering was normal and could not diagnose the steering failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but would not accept a trade back. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic and they stated that the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The vehicle has not been repaired. The dealer information was unavailable. The current mileage was 22,053 and failure mileage was 3,114. Updated 4/11/08 the consumer stated the vehicle also rides rough and sways when you turn the corner. Updated 04/11/08
