I purchased this car after 2 loaners with around 23,000 miles on it. The engine has blown up TWICE! TWICE! I do not beat my car up, I drive pretty darn well because I know how expensive it is to fix cars these days. I want my car to last as long as possible. I also do the regular maintenance on it to avoid major issues down the road. The only way I knew there was an issue was when I was driving to pick my client up for therapy and I smelled a fire-like hot smell through my vents where the AC was supposed to be blowing. I brought my car to my dad to borrow his truck for the remainder of my session and he opened the hood and immediately said it was toast. My engine was rusted from the inside out and I, to this day 4/5/23, I have never seen the check engine light come on NOT ONCE! I smelled the problem after it was too late and the car gave no warning signs it was having issues.

I paid over 4 grand, and that is with a friends and family discount, to replace the engine because it was that or pay more for a new car again, plus I still owed around $8000 on the car. The same exact thing happened around 40,000 miles later and still no known cause as to why. The second time the coolant mixed with the oil and created that thick sludgy substance, again no check engine light or warning at all until it was way too late. I paid $16,000 for this car and put about another $15,000 in over 6 years and its still the biggest piece of sh*t ever.

Suspension needs to be replaced like every 35,000 miles and its over a grand to do that each time. Do not EVER EVER buy GMC. I have had mental breakdowns darn near because I just can't fathom someone putting a car like this on the market for someone to buy who just wants to go to work 5 days a week and maybe camping once a damn year. I will never again purchase a Buick and I tell every single person I meet the same thing.
