The contact leased a 2014 Buick Verano. The contact stated that the hood lid and the front passenger side fender were not properly attached to the body of the vehicle, which caused an opening where the size of a finger could enter. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was improperly designed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 13.
