Son bought used May 2021 after dad & friend (auto savvy) test drove and suggested O.K. to purchase. One day after purchase on a rainy day windshield washer spray wasn't hitting windshield. Checked out during test drives and had been working. Returned to dealer to fix. Seemed to have resolved the problem. But shortly after same issue returned.
Windshield shortly after received rock damage and needed replacement. During the replacement, repairman was advised of the problem and was able to rectify (?) it. But shortly after the problem returned.
The assembly unit that covers the bottom of the windshield is somehow "sliding down". Since the windshield wash sprayers are part of this assembly, when out of position the spay misses the windshield. This creates an unsafe and dangerous driving situation in heavy rain and snow. Could this cause a more serious windshield issue? Like snow and ice accumulating under windshield during winter months!
Tried to checked YouTube and repairmanuals.com, but couldn't find any info.
Has anyone experienced this same issue and direct us to a solution?
