Just after about 2 years of paying off the vehicle at 73,000.00 miles i needed a new engine. I have never brought a 40,000.00 car and had this happen. I have had used cars all my life and never thought this would happen. There have been so many problems with this car that i have never experienced with a used car. I would be on this site all night to tell you about the problems that i have experienced, and the price to get it fixed was very expensive. These cars are nice to look at and that's about all. A new engine with with those low miles on it is unheard of. Flooding inside the car shorted out electrical system, and i could go on. I would never get another Cadillac. I have no choice to get another car now. I thought this would be my car the rest of my life, because it is a nice looking car, and i am no where near wealthy. Even if i got another engine I would worry about another oil leak since this is the second oil leak, which is unheard of. On top of that there are other problems which would cost a lot to get it fixed. Like i said i would be on this site all night reporting the problems. To the maker of this car, you need to do a better job of making these cars, and i think they make them so they won't last and try to get you to get another one. If they can unlock your car through Onstar i believe they can do more than that. I would never advise anyone to buy a Cadillac unless you have the money to go along with the problems or to buy another car.
