CTS CTS 3.6L Litre

  • Automatic transmission
  • 175,500 miles

This car has more damned computers to it than the damned space shuttle has!!!!! People at GM need their asses kicked and their heads examined for producing such a f*cked up vehicle!!!!! A $30,000.00 car shouldn't have a glued on back up lens cover!! Not to mention the sh*tty design they chose to replace headlamp bulbs accessibility. And lord help you when your dash lights and gauges go crazy and you can't get the f*ckin' key out of the ignition switch.

Cadillac hasn't heard the last of me!!!!(GM). I've been working on cars for over 35 years' and this is the shittiest vehicle I've ever owned. Going to sell this jalopy!!!!! It's an absolute shame because the engine and trans have been good to me so far for it having 175,500 miles on it. If I didn't know any better I would swear the CEO'S and DESIGNERS WERE SMOKING CRACK WHEN PRODUCING THIS VEHICLE!!! SO DAMNED DISGUSTED!!!!!! IN ANDERSON, SC. GOOD DAY ALL.

CTS CTS 3.2L

  • Manual transmission
  • 118,000 miles

I purchased an '04 CTS this year in 2014, the car has 118000+ miles. While parked, I was unable to release the key from the ignition switch. The key was stuck in the ignition switch and I wasn't even able to turn the key to the ON position. I had to have the car towed and the ignition switch replaced. With all of the known issues that GM is having they are refusing to include this in the IGNITION RECALL LIST saying this model CTS wasn't affected. Yet there are numerous complaints regarding such, The vehicle was diagnosed and the ignition switch replaced. It cost me $300. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 118,000+.
