The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Cts. While reversing, the steering wheel seized and extreme force was required in order to steer the vehicle. The contact also mentioned that the power windows failed to operate. The vehicle was towed to a dealer who diagnosed that the steering power rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was unavailable. The approximate failure mileage was 29,000.
