I don't even know how the problem started. All I know is that in the past month we've been experiencing very cold frigid below zero weather.
1st day: I make my usual turn into a very busy street which I have automatically speed up, but this time I couldn't, it wouldn't allow me to. So I pulled into a driveway to let it warm up a little longer. It seems to work. 2nd day: I let the car warm up for about 15 minutes and when I went back to get in my car I notice that it was making a putt sound like it wanted to shut off. So when I put it in drive that's when the "Traction Service" light came on and by the time I get to the end of the driveway another light came on, "Engine Power is Reduced". So turned off the car and turned it back on and it seemed to go away and I was able to make it to work, which is 7.1 miles. Going home that day I didn't have a problem. 3rd day: I was heading home from work and that's when it started to do it again, now this time is actually doing it when I'm driving for a few minutes. I don't know what to think of it because the check engine light came on and I stalled on the road, I able to coast the vehicle to the side of the road. Waited a couple of mins and it started back up. Just as I'm going to turn into my driveway it stalls and completely shuts off. Again I waited about a minute and started back up. Parked it for two days. 4th day: I start the car hoping it was just the weather, but the engine light is on but it seems to be riding until about 6 miles it lost power and shut down three times. I'm shopping and when I start my car back up the check engine light is gone and the car seems to ride fine. Like I said we've been having very cold weather and sometimes at night it can get as low as -40°
