Continuously this message would appear on the dashboard message center - there was no dirt/mud/debris on the sensors of the mirrors that would cause the system to not work properly. I had to wait until I got to a stop light, or else pull over to the side of the road. Put the car in Park, turn the engine completely off and turn it back on again. Then sometimes 10 miles down the road it would do it again. I had it in the dealership on several occasions about this issue and they couldn't seem to be able to replicate the notificaton, and they said that hooking it up to their computer, the system did not show that this message ever came on, yet I had photographs of it!
