CTS Performance 3.6L

I was waiting at an intersection, when the light happened to turn green pressed the gas pedal car did move but very slowly. I thought I did not press the gas pedal down, so then pressed the gas pedal all the way down car still maintained its speed of 20mph no increase in RPMs. Car eventually after some time picked up the rpms and MPH. There appears to be a delay with the acceleration pedal. My car is still under warranty with Cadillac. They are still currently inspecting the car at this time. As soon as there is a solution I will keep you guys posted.
