After the end of my vehicle warranty I went to the dealer to do a full check and fix some issues. During the check, they changed the transmission oil and after driving the vehicle for several weeks I started hearing some noise. I thought it similar to a previous noise caused by minor issue that was fixed. But the noise increased and after checking, they told me that the differential has failed and I need to replace it!
It is only 100,000 km and I just finished the warranty! The cost is high. I will never buy a Cadillac again and will advise all of my friends not to. Changing the transmission oil is very risky and shall not be done, and if done, they shall give me assurance that this will not damage my car.
