CTS Luxury 2.0L Turbo Awd

Car experiences very rough, sometimes loud abnormal shifting. On one of the occasions it felt as if we had been hit by something such as another auto. The whatever it is could be felt through the floorboard (this is not an exaggeration). Because of this and other similar incidents my wife has chosen not to drive the car for fear she may panic if this problem occurs while she is operating the vehicle.

The vehicle has been brought into several dealerships but has not been repaired and the problem continues. I have read the numerous complaints about this problem in literally thousands of gm vehicles and it appears gm has chosen not to correct/repair the serious problem most likely because of the obvious costs involved and the fact there have been no deaths reported.

This needs to become a national/international complaint picked up by the media. This will eventually happen as the issue will not go away. No company, large or small can take a huge defect and say it is not covered by their warranty. Otherwise, nothing will be done. Large companies have their very special ways of winning in situations such as this, both in and out of the courtroom. I am a 50+ year long gm customer and currently own the Cadillac mentioned and a Corvette C-7. I am a very disappointed long-time GM customer.

thuds

Just purchased the car as a CTA or a new car not registered but used as courtesy vehicles. The problem became noticeable as I drove the car more. The car also had an acceleration issue just a 1 time thing where i had to press the accelerator to the floor to get the car to pick up speed only to be jolted in a jerky motion for about 5-7 seconds. The Dealer now has the car and I requested a new vehicle without early repairs (9 days of ownership) By Law here in AZ, I am assuming that we have to allow them to repair the car, I will be looking into that. Not excited right now but I will Better Business this issue too.
