The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Dts. While driving at 55 mph, the vehicle began to lose power but did not stall. The dealer advised the central computer was defective and was failing. The dealer made unknown repairs to the vehicle. The failure mileage was 5,000 and current mileage was 23,100.

2006 Cadillac Dts surges while accelerator pedal is not depressed, RPM's get higher, shuts off without warning. ***** the vehicle has been taken to the dealer twice for testing. The manufacturer indicated that there was no fix for the problem. The technician at the dealer test drove the car and indicated that the vehicle was operating as designed. The vehicle would occasionally hesitate when slowing down to a stop.
