The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Dts. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact noticed that the low tire pressure sensor displayed an inaccurate reading of twenty three pounds. The contact drove to a nearby service station to inflate the tire; however, the tire warning indicator continued to read twenty three pounds. After the contact reached his destination the tire air pressure was measured by a tire gauge which read forty pounds. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage and VIN were unavailable.

2006 Cadillac Dts has had several problems from day one. The day the consumer drove the vehicle off the lot, the tire pressure monitor light illuminated. The vehicle would not start after sitting in the carport overnight. Roadside assistance replaced the battery. 3 months later the vehicle failed to start again. The vehicle has been to the dealer seven times for braking problems. The consumer stated every time he applied the brakes, the entire vehicle vibrated/shimmied and when he released the brakes, the noise stopped.
