THIS "OIL PAN LEAK" INCLUDED A "HIGH PRESSURE SEAL LEAK", A "VALVE COVER LEAK". THE CADILLAC MECHANIC DROPPED THE SUB-FRAME AND FOUND "2 CRACKED MOTOR MOUNTS", A "WATER PUMP LEAK", AND A "CROSS-OVER SEAL LEAK".
MY TOTAL REPAIR ON THIS CAR, WHICH IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, IS $5,000+ DOLLARS. THE BLUE BOOK ON THIS CAR IS $10,000. SO, I AM BASICALLY SPENDING IN REPAIRS 50% OF THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE CAR.
I AM THE FIRST AND ONLY OWNER OF THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS SERVICED ON A REGULAR BASIS. MY CADILLAC MECHANIC (DEALERSHIP MECHANIC), INFORMED ME THAT CADILLAC HAS EXPERIENCED A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SEALS. AS SUCH, THEY HAVE UP-GRADED SEALS.
THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM AND WILL DEFINITELY AFFECT MY NEXT CAR PURCHASE DECISION.
