I own a 95 Cadillac that had less than 3000 miles on it when I got it in 95. In 2000 the fuel pump shorted out in the fuel tank burning up the fuel pump and the wiring harness going to it. I had the car repaired at stutzman Cadillac in winchester va. In November 2005 the same thing happened again. I called Cadillac main office and talked to told them about what had happened. The only reply I got from them was they were sorry that I was having problems with the car. The first time this happened the car had 43000 miles on it. It now has 81000. It seems to me that there ought to be a fuse or something to keep this from happening.
