Consumer had to replace the fuel pump. The wiring harness had caught on fire and melted the insulation on some of the wires destroying the electrical connector under the fuel outlet lines inside of the tank. The vehicle prior to the fire used to stall until it quit entirely. After consumer replaced the fuel pump, he noticed the old fuel pump was not the cause of failure. The wiring harness had failed because of an electrical fire.
