The contact owns a 2000 Cadillac Deville. While driving approximately 70 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle failed to slow down. The contact rear ended the preceding vehicle at approximately 70 mph and the air bags failed to deploy. Both vehicles sustained damage. The contact sustained an injury to his neck. Brought car at arnold palmer Cadillac in charlotte, nc, independence ave on 2/10/07. After getting home, brakes begin to squeak, took car back immediately the next day, I was told to put the car in reverse and slam on brakes and the squeak should stop; that was an insult. Again I took the car back to the dealership, I was told that they took the brakes pads off and sanded them down and the squeaking would stop. It has been three weeks now, my brakes is still squeaking with a grinding noise. Spending $16,000 for a vehicle, I feel I should not have to go through this. I have missed 2 days of work taking my car back to the dealeship to be made a fool of. I have brought 3 Cadillac from arnold palmer, never again will they get my business or will I recommend anyone to them for this type of service. In addition to the brake problem, now the warning lights are coming on for fluid levels. When you buy a car from a well-known company, you trust that the product you buy will be reliable, and have gone through a five point inspection. What can I do to resolve this situation, because I cannot continue to keep missing work and taking the car back for the same problem. I feel arnold palmer is putting me off in an effort for the warranty to expire, and they will not have to fix problem.

ABS braking system operated poorly. Vehicle did not stop, resulting in extended stopping distance. Neither the dealer or manufacturer were willing to deal with the ABS brake problem. Also. Air bags will not deploy unless the vehicle was hit head on.

Dealer and manufacturer were not notified at this time. Consumer also stated that there is a possibility of faulty brakes because one side locked which were previously repaired by dealer under warranty, there were 2 injuries.

Consumer was traveling on the highway and suddenley vehicle accelerated and took off in traffic, consumer had both feet on the brakes, the vehicle did not respond appropriately for brakes, vehicle was out of control. Consumer states that the drivers seat heater is inoperative, driver and passenger front seat belt buckles were out of position, and the passenger side plastic retainer was broke, while pulling into a parking space consumer lost all power steering, dealer replaced rack and pinion, engine is making a knocking noise, while accelerating vehicle started in third gear, which the gears seem to lock up internally, vehicle starts vibrating at approximately 50 mph, the right center dash A/C vent closes by it self, the night vision lens is cracked and the console holder and latch broke.

Replaced battery 2 times now after happening serval times, also replaced 2 modules. This car has been in 5 times + 1 time again could not pick up because it acted up again, after service thought it was fixed. Now the security light has gone on again, and stayed on for 1hr till I reached my destination. This light would alway come on and stay on with the service anti- theft reading at the previous times. I do not feel save driving this car. I will not drive this car out of town, I feel at anytime I could be stranded from it not staring. This car is a lemon.
