I have already replaced the cables on both front windows. Now, the right rear window has broken as well. Clearly, a design defect.

Fourth window to fail with exactly the same problem, a small piece of plastic was broken in the window assembly. The dealer stated that the piece could not be replaced so I would again have to buy a new window assembly. I have now replace all four windows and Cadillac has said too bad but the car was old.... is this customer service? Please give ideas how to get GM's attention...

The part that was broken on this window was a small piece of plastic that would have cost less than $2.00, however, you had to have the entire window assembly replaced. Cadillac was un sympathetic since the car was "so old".
