  • 82,000 miles
Vehicle engine would stop running when you let off the gas at slower speed. Would lose control of the steering. Was intermittent. Would happen a few times and then go away. Was taken to the dealer who replaced the "idle air control valve". pt# 88893284. Old part is available. 2001 Cadillac 82,423 miles.

While in motion, the vehicle acted like it was out of gas or low in gas, but it picked up speed normally. The repair technician couldn't get the vehicle to repeat the problem. No repair was done to vehicle.

Accroding to the fuel economy info. This vehicle should get: City 17 mpg and highway 27 mpg. This vehicle consumes at best with additives on highway 18.9 mpg.
