This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Cadillac dealer.
I have no problem with the car except for the annoying pain in the rear task of having to pull my windows back out of the door. I have never had the problem fixed due to the high cost of cheaply made parts for what is said to be a "solid car" not to solid if you ask me.

All 4 electric windows fell into doors, were fixed under warrantee, and started again with the drivers door first. Car now off warrantee.

Driver's window dropped into the door for the second time. Windows dropping in the doors are the most annoying problem but not only recurrent problem I have had with the Deville. First Caddy for me bought because of the reputation as being a "solid" car. This car is not for the Un Rich. Perhaps you are only supposed own the auto for 10,000 miles then dump it for the Livery Industry.

Rear windows dropped inside the doors. Hoping I will not have a window problem any longer the pattern started again. Dealer has fixed all electric windows but not for long.
