NHTSA recall 04V110000 concerning fuel rail tubing. After having the fuel rail replaced consumer noticed fluid leaking from underneath the vehicle. Consumer tool vehicle back to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the fuel regulator needed to be replaced.

Vehicle continued to experience problem with the fuel rail after the vehicle was serviced for NHTSA recall #04V110000. Dealer stated that there was nothing they could do, and that they replaced the component indicated in the recall. One week after the repair the vehicle cut out and the consumer smelled gas fumes, the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they added a clip.

While driving consumer smelled a gas odor coming from the vents. Consumer pulled over, lifted up the hood, and noticed that gasoline was leaking from the hoses onto the engine. Consumer contacted the dealer, and mechanic consumer that this vehicle must come in for inspection.

While driving consumer smelled gasoline coming through the engine compartment. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that fuel rail needed to be replaced. The fuel rail was cracked and was spraying fuel all over the engine compartment.

While starting up the vehicle consumer smelled gasoline. Consumer inspected the vehicle and noticed that fluid was leaking from underneath the vehicle. Vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that fuel rail needed to be replaced.

Consumer was driving 45 mph on the high way, when a strong smell of gas entered inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who discovered that left fuel rail was cracked. The fuel rail was made of low impact plastic. Manufacturer had not been informed of the problem.
