The consumer was in a parking lot driving 10 mph, when all of a sudden the car accelerated. The consumer hit a concrete slab and ripped it out of asphalt, and was up on top of it. The concrete slab was 21/2 X4 feet; the car was still accelerating very loudly. She pulled her foot away and looked and there was nothing touching the gas pedal. She put the vehicle in park and it was still accelerating; pulled the keys out and it turned off. Cadillac found carbon in the throttle body. There was no police report, because the incident happened on private property.
